Accreditation
Accreditation is an important part of our safety and quality improvement plans.
Healthe Care hospitals are fully accredited by the Australian Council for Healthcare Standards (ACHS) or by Global Mark incorporating ISO 9001:2015.
The accreditation process measures our hospitals' performance against the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) established by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare (ACSQHC).
The NSQHS is the benchmark that all public and private hospitals across Australia must meet to maintain their accreditation status.
Community Care
Our Community Care services are also accredited under the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Home Care Standards, plus the Quality Improvement Council (QIC) Health and Community Service Standards.
Accreditation provides an opportunity for Healthe Care’s safety and quality improvement processes to be independently scrutinised by external auditors.
There is no industry accreditation benchmark, however all of our hospitals and Community Care services are fully accredited by their respective accreditation bodies.
