Volunteering

Healthe Care has a committed group of volunteers - both young and old.

Throughout our hospitals and through our 'Pay it Forward' initiative, our volunteers generously offer their time and services to assist our staff, patients and their families.

Volunteer roles are many and varied and can include:

• Companionship for our patients
• Pastoral visits and church service on the weekends
• Regular morning teas
• Art therapy assistance
• Working on hospital projects that enhance patient experiences
• Joining our hospital Consumer and Carer Advisory Committee (CCAG) to review policies, procedures and patient feedback
• Volunteering on our hospital wards and administration
• Providing concierge services for people arriving at our hospitals

At any given time, we are proud to have around 100 volunteers who make patient experiences at our Healthe Care hospitals, memorable.
