Gosford Private introduces latest advancement to knee surgery
Gosford Private’s Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Sarah Hanslow is interviewed on the new state of the art MAKO Robot Total Knee Replacement platform, which is a first for the Central Coast and transforms the way total knee replacements are performed.
The new robotic technology allows the surgeon to get the prosthesis in a position with never before achieved, and by using a virtual 3D model, the MAKO allows surgeons to develop a surgical plan before entering the operating room.
